A Beautiful Picture of Worship!

"Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they sang:

"Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!"

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing;

"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, forever and ever!"

The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped." -Rev. 5:11-14

I have read these verses many times, they just hit me in a new way this week. I want to worship God with ALL of my heart, not just in words, but in action... because of who He is. I want the way I live my life to be an act of worship. Although He doesn't need me, He chooses to love me and use me anyway. He is SO worthy of my praise!

I am so thankful that I serve a perfect, compassionate, forgiving, merciful, all-powerful, loving God!

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing, and perfect will." -Romans 12:1-2
