I went to Lifeway last night with Matthew and I picked up this book by Francis Chan, it's called "Crazy Love" and it is sooooo good. I just finished reading it if that tells you anything. Francis Chan is a pastor out in California and I listen to his sermons sometimes online, so when I saw that he had a book I had to buy it!This book will challenge you no matter where you are in your walk with the Lord. He talks about the complacency of churches and Christians today. It will really make you examine your life and question what you are willing to do to step out and make a difference for His Kingdom... because after all, it's not about us. He talks about breaking free from the status quo and stepping into authentic faith and obedience to Jesus Christ. It is the best $13.99 I have spent in a long time, I strongly recommend it. Read it, then let me know what you think.
